I could give you the example of my Mythological Women art but that'd be a very bad sample: they contain only 12 vertices per piece, but at 6 pieces Illustrator is having obvious problems

May have to do with the fact that I throw multiple repetitive transformations onto each shape

From illustrators point of wiew the expanded shape is ultimately what counts

Well, I was already surprised that it handles those images I linked to so badly

Not just on my laptop, but my pretty heavy desktop also has issues when I have more than five of those contraptions in a single file

four shapes, 4 anchors each, each shape copied on average 40 times, and the result copied 12 times. That is 4*40*12 is ust short of 1920 anchors per illustration

so, to answer your original question: 10,000

Anybody has any ideas how I can create a word doc with 8x10 measurements? (for an actors resume). Apparently it's very hard to find any information on this... :/

Can't you just change the page format in Page Settings in the ribbon?

If your desired format isn't displayed, in the dropdown, you can always click 'More page sizes...' and enter your own, right?

@WELZ inches, feet and miles I can handle. Pounds require some thinking. Fluid ounces and degrees Fahrenheit I will never grasp -_-

in metric, all you need to remember is '10'.

8 oz cup, 4 cups in a quart, 4 qts in a gallon (I have no clue where/how/why/who they came up with this)

I think it's easier for Fahrenheit people to understand celcius than the other way around

0 = cold, 10 = chilly, 20 = mild, 30 = hot

that's how I remember it :D

although I guess these values are subjective to your climate

@JohnB I have a similar scale for Fahrenheit, but it has... gaps: 20s = freezing, 90s = sweltering, 100 = human body temp

We had a friend from Berlin over this weekend. His flight back home got canceled, so he tried taking a train. I think he left for Berlin with almost a full hour of delay, and actually getting there is... uncertain

@Emilie that kind of narrows it down I mean ive only ever encountered that cold winters only once inland though it does happen every decade or so

I rember having walked 3km to school because it was only -28 when i left home

Though it was -32 when i arrived which closed the scool for us pansy ass southerners

they did cancel all walking to shool at -32

after that they arranged a bus to pick us up and closed after 35

even for just waiting for the bus, kids in my area most likely don't have clothes that will keep you warm at those temperatures

which alos means we are very warm inhouse, or then we swap shoes at work, and dont vear any at home

@JohnB i dont think i have frozen in my feet other than having the inappropriate shoe on, such as tennis shoes in slush

I dint even worry about my feet when i was playing solider in -38 degrees in a dark forest

OTOH i did worry about my fingers

@joojaa I find the worst if figuring it out what to wear when it's really cold and you're out doing sports since just a bit of sweat turns you into an ice cube

I froze a toe once playing hockey in tight skates for too long and only regained feeling in it months later
