Ja se noin 30€ on varmasti A4 kokonen... Mikä on aika iso plussa. Mistähän hinta haarukasta lähtee vacomin A4 kokoset... :) En enää muista. Mut siinä on pitkälti vielä se että vacomilta löyty läjäpäin tärkeitä lisävarusteita...

I don't think picking a name for a function is on topic since it doesn't sound like a design question, but I could be wrong it happens a lot

I have a 5-bit color channel (like red) and need to "widen" that to 8 bits. There are probably well-known algorithms for that, but I don't know if my solution to the problem is one of the well-known ones.
Naming questions are usually off-topic on _any_ stack exchange site

stack overflow woudn't accept it, programmers is more about concepts, so graphic design came to mind. you guys do colors!

I don't know that past questions would be of any use. They are all specifically related to the user asking the question and the desire for name ideas for them specifically not in general. So unless your'e name is "Robin" or "John" or "Steve" (random examples) past questions wouldn't help. The questions don't really last long enough to get any answers.

@Matt RE: pricing. I tend to either have clients who just don't ask anymore. Or I give quotes. If I'm busy the quotes get higher. If it's for a running clients, I just charge more - fully prepared to explain if asked, but I'm never asked. However, I dont' drastically charge more. So it's always in the same ballpark. Sort of the theory of boiling a frog :) Start with luke warm water and slowly raise the temp :)

Hi @Yisela! I tried Hearthstones.. it's too slow for me.. too much "flash" and "bling" which slows the game play.. then try playing others.. well.. they seemingly have all day to make moves. I guess I jsut think faster :)

@Scott Haha sorry to hear that. It is slow at first, lots of people take ages to play, or just let time pass so you skip the game and they win. It gets much faster as you lvl up and face people higher up

i spent many a college day playing far too much WOW. Worked the night shift in the residence hall and would just bring my laptop down and play away

not sure the cost now it was only like $12 a month back then and less if you payed annually if I remember right. Given the amount of entertainment I got from it and the friends I made playing it was pretty good value. I spent far more on Magic: The Gathering for example

Even $12/mth is silly to me. I jsut can't bring myself to pay continually for a game. Although I do pay for the Playstation Network.. but that's several games, and discounts and a yearly fee for everything.

I start feeling like a cash cow for developers when there are continual fees for a game.

It's actually pretty cheap. Streaming is less than 1 per per view rental here.
