Not so long ago I found out about the app SimplyE. I got a library card of the New York Public Library and used it to read some of A Farewell to Arms on the app. Unfortunately, the card has expired (it was temporary). I sent them an email wondering whether I could have it renewed but rejected my request. Is there a library from the SimplyE list (it contains only American libraries, as I understand it, but not all of them) that could issue me, a non-resident, a permanent library card online?
