@uhoh So my first question is going to be: What should be the megapixel, contrast, exposure time, etc. for Spectroscopy, where should I post it?

user561894
@uhoh My second question is going to be: How do I calculate the different wavelengths of light i.e spectroscopy through Python?, where should I post this?

@ScienceAJ I will recommend you start slow, and ask one question, then see what the answers look like. You title could be "How do amateur astronomers measure stellar spectra? What equipment do they use, and can they measure objects as faint as mag +16?"
@ScienceAJ in the body of your question you can mention what (if any) telescope and camera you have available now (if you want) and you will also have to explain what you hope to learn from the spectrum. For example, do you need to resolve spectral lines?
@ScienceAJ After you get some answers to that, you will probably want to change your second question, so better stick to one at a time.

Thanks, @uhoh Ok, Whick stackexchange should i post it on ?

user561894
Also when should I post the question?, @uhoh

user561894
Thanks

user561894
@uhoh I think I should ask it in Astronomy SE

user561894
@uhoh But I can post in only after few hours because I already posted another question on Astronomy SE, because SE doesn't allow to post question for few hours

One message that wasn't copied here by Tyberius (I assumed it was copied, so I deleted it, then realized it was gone, but luckily seem to have had it in another tab):
@ScienceAJ Thanks. Did you get a notification saying that I subscribed to your channel? Your # of subscribers when from 15 to 16. You can also subscribe to mine if you want here: youtube.com/c/nikedattani
