@StevenSagona Thanks for the link. As soon as I read "superconducting" I immediately knew that this meant a photon causes a Cooper Pair to disassemble and return back to a pair of "hot" electrons. Makes perfect sense. If someone had asked me about the possibility of the idea working, I'd have immediately said "sure, so let's try it and see." I only wonder why it's recent.
