@Hennes I first played Xcom 1 (UFO) on a subnotebook. Toshiba probably. With a 11'' monitor and a tiny thingie made of rubber.. a mini-joystick? Stuck in between the keys of the keyboard.
It was addictive. My finger hurt.
I went out and bought a mouse.
A pointing stick (or trackpoint, also referred to generically as a nub or nipple) is a small analog stick used as a pointing device typically mounted centrally in a computer keyboard.
