so if I were to replace my current laptop and access point and their relative locations with 6GHz versions, keeping all other circumstances equal... there is a theoretical maximum that will change

6GHz has shorter range and can't penetrate physical barriers as well, but is faster.

@JourneymanGeek Have you noticed a difference when using 6 compared to the others?

7G will do what 3/4/5G does and what 6G does, but at the same time, coming in 2027.

@MiG You'd need all wifi 6e capable gear + its likely to have the same problem with walls 5GHZ does

also I'm of the opinion wifi sucks in singapore cause of population density
