Hi! I'm buying a new computer. I want to be able to move my old computer's graphics card, RAM, and hard drive to the new computer. (The graphics card is the most important.) I haven't really played with building computers before, so I'm not sure how to tell whether the new computer and the parts will be compatible with each other. Can I please have some help?
My graphics card is an NVidia GTX 1060, and the RAM I want to move is DDR3.
I'm not sure if this is the kind of thing where the components I'm working with are so standard that it should just work, or if I need to make sure the motherboard has all the ports it needs to support everything first or how to tell if that's the case.

Q: How do I upload photos on Super User?

DCcat MarvelCatNoMoreI figured that photos can only be posted via links. Is there any way to upload photos to a question or answer? Thank you!

@Kevin graphics card - physical space, mounting brackets might be a factor. if the 1060 needs its own power feed
Ram - If you have spare slots, and that might, yes
Since its a HP find a service manual
> ● 240 W, 92% efficient, compatible with ENERGY STAR® Version 5.2 requirements
PSU .... is underwhelming
also
Non standard

@JourneymanGeek this is why one must build his own ITX rig

i don't think that case is full height so graphic cards might not fit

@tereško not everyone has the skills, inclination, or time alas
but yeah, I tend to consider systems with 'standard' parts essential for any serious builds

that particular chassis might not fit, yeah, but a proper ITX case will fit a 300-340mm card (for example: NCase)
