...welp. Some odd driver instability since updating to the NVIDIA 417.xx drivers. Assassin's Creed Odyssey may crash in a reproducible manner (at the same location in the game world), but the problem clears up after restarting. It's consistent enough that hardware instability is unlikely to be the cause, and it only began after that update. (@Bob @allquixotic @JourneymanGeek)
I kinda remember others here have had similar issues with recent versions of the NVIDIA graphics driver.
So something is messing up the system or graphics memory. It just doesn't feel like hardware because instability isn't typically that consistently reproducible.
(as in, five out of five times at the exact same location in the game world, and working properly after a reboot)
In same order, purpose: portfolio, website, experiment, file sharing, old website, email domains ([email protected]), the rest are for web apps which are in development
A while ago, I wrote a program which creates efficient deltas between ntfsclone images.
https://github.com/koljanowak/ntfscloneimgdelta
It was particularly easy because the file format of the ntfsclone images is pretty straight forward. They are in essence just a series of bytes saying either ...
Yeah, I don't have huge issue with it, though these things can feel a bit "this result was top of a Google search for 'how do do X', so I created an account to post my program here"
But that's probably partly me projecting my own insecurities about self promotion :-P
@JourneymanGeek That sounds cool. I just wish my phone would auto save to a local home server every time I come back home, because more likely than not, I'd have been taking nature videos or vlogging that entire day and the few gigs in my phone would be completely full.
@Bob well, that's because you haven't had enough leads for traffic to move into your funnels. Once you do though, the caviar just rolls right in with the champagne.
@Nick At least champagne production does not require "stunning the fish and extracting the ovaries" or "performing a caesarean section, which allows the female to continue producing roe"...
@DavidPostill I mean, all the effort is the only reason that stuff has any flavour of taste. Otherwise, who'd eat something that looks, smells and tastes the way it does.
A crisis concerning who is the legitimate President of Venezuela has been underway since 10 January 2019, when the opposition-majority National Assembly declared that incumbent Nicolás Maduro's 2018 reelection was invalid and the body declared its president, Juan Guaidó, to be acting president of the nation.
The process and results of the May 2018 Venezuelan presidential election were widely disputed. The National Assembly declared Maduro illegitimate on the day of his second inauguration, citing the 1999 Constitution of Venezuela enacted under Hugo Chávez, Maduro's predecessor; in response, the...
@JourneymanGeek I need a venture capitalist right now, that guy from the Early Edition and Game Night, he's going to be the brand ambassador. This is genius.
I'm going to presume it's booting even if you can't see it is, and that it's connected on your wireless network, hopefully with network shares enabled.
From another machine on the same network, you want to:
Find out the IP the tablet is picking up, you maybe able to do this via your routers ad...
@JourneymanGeek meh, cows would die out without us
They get treated a hell of a lot better than some animals (chickens for example)
I want to simulate a VANET based SDN , I successfully integrated SUMO with OMNET using VEINS. Then I imported INET, OpenFlow, an error appear when I add gates to the RSU and connected with OpenFlow switch the below error is appear? How can I fix that and what should I modify to make my VEINS scen...
I built a prototype keyboard/sound synthesizer using a chain of 13 astable multivibrator circuits whose outputs are connected to an audio amplifier chip (LM386) and speaker, all powered off a 9V DC battery.
Each individual circuit gets tuned to one of the 13 frequencies in a musical octave (C5, ...
