...and I am phasing out the old, unmaintained cloud desktop server. All data on that server is being transferred to the current production server that runs my website, though it won't be attached to the instance; it'll just be kept there so I can access it if necessary. (I still have enough free space on the main production instance for this to not be an issue.)

Restarting the main server.

Some of the freed budget is being used to enable the Linode Backup Service for that instance.

Hopefully, someday, I'll set up a fresh Linode instance with some new experimental stuff...

The existing production server will continue to be maintained for the foreseeable future and there are no plans to take it down.
