Q: Forgotten LUKS passphrase

i am stuck with a big problem. I have encrypted my linux drive with LUKS and now I can't remember it. During boot, it prompts me for the passphrase, but I went into troubleshooting mode and deleted the entry from /etc/crypttab so at least I can boot now into my account but that doesn't solve the...

I think there is a kernel of something useful in it- they remember what might be the phrase and their TC usage pattern (well, 'on a Mac'...) so it may be generically useful to someone else who has forgetten a TC password

known issue with a lot of the cheaper prusa i3 clones (wanhao/monoprice, anet a8, etc.)

mosfet being effectively an external relay for the power to go through
