Im using paramiko to edit a file on another computer that requires sudo to edit the file. But i get the error “sudo: no tty present and no askpass program specified”". I've never run into this problem before, because I would simply "echo <sudo pw> | sudo <command>"

not sure how to get around this, been trying all day

@HackToHell We use bearer tokens, which are exchanged during device registration based on a one-time unlock code

Users receive their unlock code via email or SMS

We are however in the process of moving to an OAuth2 based setup where users will be able to auth with FB/LinkedIn/Google and get a bearer token assigned after auth alternatively

But we haven't touched that part in the app yet

@HackToHell Yeah, they are generally referred to as "bearer tokens". You'll find a lot of information on the web

They are passed with the Authorization HTTP header as bearer <token>

HTTPS is mandatory, of course ;)

@Bob the case around the battery they supply functions not only as a extended battery holder, but makes a good protection too. The batts are not as powerfull as they say, which makes little sence as they have the room, and the 3 prismatic (suqare type) cells could hold that much juice. so the aleged ~9 amp is instead reality about 7,5amp making it only2x :-( the oem.

when my batt started getting old, i ordered a new one. (actually a set 2 phones same). and the new set was not newly made. one old battery actually had more capacity than the new. soooo in all probability they were all made at the same time, and sold later as the device became obsolete :-( which sucked.

eventually i will be able to make an extended of better quality than thiers, as the device becomes more obsolete, but the rubbery protective case, i wouldnt know how to make that as well.

oh yea that, paying 2/3rd more for the &#%$^ shipping.

if anyone can cope with the phone being 2x weight, and the phone is already to big for front pocket (i use holster) then i would say definatly get one.

i had runtimes like that long before they made batts, and appretiate the idea and effort to supply much the same as i would have done for myself.
