@JourneymanGeek: I use the back of a legal pad for a mousepad. People lose mousepads so often here, we just stopped ordering them. We always have a large supply of legal pads beside the copier though.

@surfasb: Most of my mice are padless. this specific one feels a bit rough on this specific table. Duct tape abuse amuses me, and the pad felt a little like sandpaper

Padless. Ewww. We have a huge box of Dell wired mice that somoene found on Craigslist. I think it came out to almost $2 a mouse.

Looking at the second picture, it looks like you are using disk 2! Take a look back in the pack and find Disk 1, start the setup from that.

It depends. Forcing a process to end will attempt to immediately deallocate the memory, and in some cases, it will not be able to kill it at all. If we are talking about a non managed application, for example a C or C++ application, the OS will at some point clean the memory, but this is dependa...
