Challenge : Find reasonably small positive integers $a,b$ , say , $a,b\le 10^9$ , such that $\binom{a}{b}\pm 1$ form a twin prime pair as large as possible. My so far best result is : $$[3589, 1329, 1026]$$
the third entry is the number of digits of the primes in decimal expansion.
