Q: What was the origin of Christian vs Muslim conflict?

@PeterTurner we saw a live stream of the Mass on Sunday; it was eerie - just the Bishop and a deacon and a server or two. And the homily, rather than being inspiring, was just awful. I got up and left (we were in our living room) The intention of the homily is to inspire - epic fail on this occasion.

was watched a live stream the prior two weeks. That's what we do a bit when somebody's sick so kind of used to it. But this thing from Magnificat is better, much more like going to Church at home. Especially if you've got 5 kids - you still get the screams, shushes, crying, going to the bathroom.

There's plenty of good Catholic stuff to watch outside the Mass. So I'd suggest doing this and watching something on formed if you've got it.

@PeterTurner Magnificat? Hmmm, I took their book for a few years, pretty good stuff.
Ah, I like the link. I'll let Mrs S know about it. She's a big EWTN fan, it's her default channel on TV.

@KorvinStarmast What made the homily so bad? And was it focused on the pandemic or something else?
