@LeeWoofenden This is the reason that our intellect depends on our emotions. The upper level thinking occurs in what gets called the cerebral cortex. The lower level thinking occurs in what gets called the Limbic system. Therefore when the Limbic system activates the flow of energy instead of to the cortex goes to that of the Limbic system, the "reptilian brain". This is why upset people often say things that they do not mean to say when they are angry.
Here is the biblical proof to this as well.
"for the anger of man does not achieve the righteousness of God." (James 1:20 NASB)

@fredsbend How does one prove that the future exists? What eye can behold the face of the future? Yet the future has in store for us either out punishment or reward, and many proofs can come to prove that the future created all things and has all the power, and has all the knowledge, and has the decision between life and death. Or could anything exist without the motion into the future? And since it does exist. That's the proof.
Existence does exist, and that " Is " his mighty name.
Existence - Sin Is Tense. The letter Samech/Sin turned into the letter X.
The logical structure is founded on the most obvious of all truths, and that is what we call reality. Is - real.
"It is what it is has sent me to you." - Moses
Mass = God / Speed of Light squared
Time(Infinity) = Distance(Infinity) / Rate
Therefore the rate of motion controls both "perceptions" of both time and distance.
For infinity divided by anything = infinity.
Therefore all power comes through motion, and all laws of physics apply through the laws of motion. And this is provable.
God is light(the motion), love(attraction through motion), the word(the motion of sound "a mechanical wave". God is omnipotent (all power comes though motion) God is omnipresent (All things move). He is the was (what moved) what is (the current state of motion), and the will be (where its going to move).
And the phrase "he will be" gets translated as Lord.
He wills the future, and through this has absolute control over everything. The Almighty God, who lives and reigns forever and ever amen.
He gave the government of the Old "Every action has an opposite and equal reaction"
He gave the government of the New "An object in motion remains in motion unless acted on by Satan"

@anonymouswho Tartarus was referred to in 2 Peter 2:4, yet was translated as "Hell", adding to the concept of eternal punishment.
Also if wishing to understand Paul, or why it was translated as "go to" simply read the previous posting to fredsbend.

@LeeWoofenden I agree with you about faith and works, however it should get pointed out that God often does the work. Therefore for accuracy one could say, "Faith without God doing it bears no result." However when Jesus comes out of the mouth and says, "It goes to rain." No work of any man has the ability to make it rain from perspective. Therefore when it does rain, it was by the works of God that the rain starts.
Let us all go to remembrance that God does all things, and he does things more for those that obey him and have faith in him.
Yet indeed when Jesus comes out of another persons mouth and says, "This delivery goes to this place." That's when the work of man "authorized by God" has value to God. For he who grabs the delivery and works as though working for the Lord himself, will indeed receive the approval of God himself!
And my dear friend, if God approves of what you do then you are blessed!
For when God punishes or shows mercy to those that sin, how much more when he decides to reward those dressed and ready to hear his call, and work to obey what he has commanded!
If a tree bears no result, then it has no fruit. And much the Jesus said about this. How much better then when it does bear fruit!
However be careful for works without God's Authorization, can return with punishment. Remember the priests that made the offering not at the specific time? Or Saul when he made the offering without God's Authority?
First Go and hear his voice that he actively speaks to us through other people and out of your own mouth. Then you will hear when he requires of work, or perhaps even rest =)

Q: What's the difference between "morality" and "good-and-evil"?

NathanielWe have two rather popular tags, morality and good-and-evil, that I'm having trouble distinguishing. The tag wikis don't provide much guidance, except perhaps to say that good-and-evil can be used to ask about the nature of good and/or evil, though this seems like something that is relevant to m...
