@Mr.Bultitude @ThaddeusB, could you briefly explain your votes on this? It seemed cut and dried to me, so I wonder what I'm missing.

@Nathaniel Looking at it again, I think if it stays open all but about 3 of the answers would have to go, since they merely offer personal interpretation. "Prominent theologians" is a dicey way to frame questions, but I have my doubts about other frameworks being more fruitful for what the asker is trying to accomplish. It seems to me that scoping it doctrinally wouldn't meaningfully narrow the answers, though I could be wrong.
To me it seems like a question that's right on the edge, not cut and dried in other direction. I won't shed any tears if it's closed, but at the moment I'm not convinced it's squarely in close-vote territory.

@Mr.Bultitude The parable in question then being the key differentiator between this and other "what do prominent theologians think about <baptism/1 thess. 4:17/etc.>". Okay, that makes sense. I think a better framework would be overview, but that's not a surprise.
I seem to like that format more than a lot of people :)

@MattGutting Any thoughts on the SciFi election?

@Mr.Bultitude I know there are only a couple of days left but I haven't looked at it yet :-/

@MattGutting A'ight. I might not vote. It seems like most of the users running are polarizing figures to the SFF community, and I have very limited context as to why.
