@Richard One option is to say Creation is on topic here but creation*ism* isn't - but that would set a bad precedent in my opinion. There are good, interesting questions I've seen here about what happened to Jesus on the cross from a medical perspective (sweating blood, bleeding water, etc) and questions about the end times that would require some analysis of contemporary culture and news cross referenced with the Bible.
Insisting that questions can only be about the Bible or about "pure" doctrine, and can't also involve matters of science, history, medicine, politics or other subjects is not a road I think we should go down
