Character creation for CD is pretty simple.

Basically, you choose a name and an occupation, then start with an insanity of 1

Things start off in a local university in the town of Someplace, Somewhere

so, you know, come up with a character that has a reason to be at an event where the highly respected Professor D. Athe is speaking about a recently acquired tome of ancient lore

That’s basically character creation. I’ve never run pbp before, only played in one, so if I’m doing something wrong tell me
