2:15 AM
How can I make this question fact-based?

2:26 AM
@AZeed Its more about the broadness of is
Somewhere like google or apple's likely to have a better security team than someone's homerolled authentication system
but if your google account is compromised, for example you're hosed

@JourneymanGeek, If my Google account is secure, can I conclude that accounts linked to it are secure as well?

@AZeed No :D
Individual sites can be compromised in all sorts of ways too

@JourneymanGeek, can you help me fight my post-ban?

No
There's nothing we can do about it

@JourneymanGeek, not "do", but tell me what to do

2:31 AM
@AZeed Well evey so often you get a 'grace' period to ask a question
6 months I think?
But a lot of the trick is to think very hard and ask very practical answerable questions
not what if
Literally "This thing is causing me issues - this is the exact situation I am trying to solve"

@JourneymanGeek, would you please take a look at my questions?

@AZeed If I have the time to, sure
but honestly, between my actual job (which is a pain and half) and routine moderation, I don't really have the time/energy to do that

@JourneymanGeek, who can I ask?

I'm not really sure. Probably wait and see if anyone has the time, and review your deleted questions yourself and try to understand where's the issues
and have a review of the help pages - especially the bits about 'what not to ask'

@JourneymanGeek, they are useful and as detailed as I could
each helped me fix a particular issue

3:06 AM
hm
so almost all the deleted ones... are basically impossible to answer (too vague or specific to what you're doing)
I tend to follow a "what am I trying to do?" "what do I have now?" "What's the expected outcome" format for a lot of my SU questions

6 hours later…
9:24 AM
@JourneymanGeek, What can I do about existing questions?

@AZeed looking at the deleted ones, not much I'm afraid

@JourneymanGeek, I should try to restore them?

@AZeed Looking at them - eh. not really

@JourneymanGeek, so I have to wait 6 months?

They're very hard to fix up
@AZeed I think that's roughly the time
and you get one question

9:28 AM
@JourneymanGeek, but my existing questions are good, right?

Its been brought up before but I wonder if they should warn people earlier (I'm not sure when people get warned) for post quality
@AZeed well - One's at 4 closevotes. the other's fine
but
I think the advice someone gave, or looking up/researching first is very good

9:40 AM
@JourneymanGeek Which one?
