I want to pose a question on Philosophy about the morality of drinking while pregnant. I don't have any axe to grind but I think it's interesting. I've read that some countries have introduced penalties for serving alcohol to pregnant women. Against the free will argument there's the lousy life of a kid born with foetal alcohol syndrome. I posted the question today and it got modded straight off for not being sufficiently "focused". Personally, I think that's Bs
BS. There isn't a question on the site you couldn't criticise using that argument
But I don't see the question asked anywhere else and I think it should be. I'm new to this forum and haven't figured out the rules, though I see a lot of posturing and talking down to newbies.
Can anyone help me structure that question for conversation in such a way that the moderators won't close it down?
