I just tried to post an answer after mergin account automatically from SO and got flagged as "robot" - why is that, what accounts for being a "robot"?
I do not accept Google scripts except ajax.googleapis btw.

Where did you try and post?

Q: I Bricked My Bios, Can I Re-Flash it externally?

AndroidAcolyteFXI was trying to fix my mom's computer by re-flashing the bios since her Lenovo Yoga 710-11isk laptop had been infected at the hardware level. However the update failed and now the device won't turn on at all. I have already opened it and looked for the BIOS chip but the only one I could find lo...

@fozzybear sometimes random, sometimes activity from the same IP. New users are likely to see it more often than users with higher rep.

Its frustrating how Google Re-Captcha is being put in place and preventing from making contributions
For reasons of privacy, I never accept scripts from Google. Apart from googleapis, that is
Google makes user-behavioural analyzations, which I do not like.
Is there any chance this will change if I check again tomorrow?

A: Stack Exchange's heavy reliance on external scripts

Ben BrockaNo. Keeping the site fast (using CDNs with no cookies and long expiry times) for 99% of users far outweighs the importance of appeasing 1% of extremely persnickety users. Graceful degradation only goes so far, and once you're at the point of appeasing people who don't want to run JavaScript code...

@fozzybear Maybe, maybe not.

Well, I find it not very polite simply throwing some labels at user that are actually concerned about the overwhelming and omnipresent influence of some huge companies on our society - making billions in the process of extracting very deep and fine-grained profiles during simple "all-day-use".

It's a bit more in-depth than just being "persnickety" you know
Additional scripts also in general pose a potential additional security trade-off, so I try to keep them to an absolute minimum
I understand it's a very common and convenient practise in web development, to use 3rd-party frameworks like that.

But it comes at a price, which is being paid by the users, not the implementors.

Also, some of those libraries are packed with features, which are more in advantage of the said companies, above both implementors and users
So, basically, nobody at SO or SE cares, is that correct?
That's what I extract from the provided link above

For moderation, spam, troublesome users and related issues you need diamond input on. This room is NOT for Tech Support
if you scroll up, you'll see that specific doubts for SU mods are posted here, please find a general chat room

Well, if my feedback input to SE hadn't been blocked be the very same Google scripts I mentioned, I could have used that channel, which was not possible
And I'm sure there's a plethora of nice dedicated chat groups for all kinds of stuff, but this was about missing general usability from my point of view, so I wouldn't know where to post it instead
Unless, there actually is a Tech Support chat
But obviously, the only choice I get for "Tech Support" here is this very same general chat room:
https://chat.stackexchange.com/

@fozzybear For "general tech support" using the SE sites then ask a question at meta.stackexchange.com
I merely provided a link, no implication of your culpability or capability was intended.

Ok, i still get "Mr. Robot", so there will be no contrib
FWIW - I don't see the reason
Ok, I'm done here - as expected, Google ReCaptcha 3 is not accepting my machine with Google scripts activated, as I experienced before.

If it's made so incredibly hard to get contributions online, then I happily pass and keep my advice.
If you please could just tell me how to "un-merge" my SO account from SE again and off I'll be
Now I'm flagged as spam - it's ridiculous
Ok, login removal successful. Goodbye then
