@R-D - I don't see how that question could be disguised as a product recommendation. As long as users do not submit product recommendations I don't see a reason that question should be closed. The fact the question is sort of a moot point is the concerning point and it perhaps should be closed for that reason. In other words the HDD appears to have been manufactured a numbers of years ago, has a sticker that is one product, and but it is identifying itself as a different product.
There really isn't an answer to a question like that.
@Ramhound I think my question covers a little more and I wanted to point out that my question falls in that category but got down vote and the hilarious thing is the obvious irrelevant answer to the supposed irrelevant question got two upvotes! never mind, seems funny to me.
