Worth pointing out the answer they wanted to submit to workplace would not have been well accepted anyways. So it's likely a good thing they couldn't submit that answer to that question.

@wp78de, bounties are explained here. The person posting the bounty can award it to any answer they want. If they don't pick an answer but accept an answer, that is assumed to be the selection. But if they don't pick an answer or accept one, only half the bounty is awarded, and it goes to the highest voted answer created after the bounty started with a minimum score of 2.
