If we're going to "Kill the troll", I nominate him to be killed. His edits aren't helpful, his posts are extremely low quality, and contributing nothing good to the site. Also bitching about dumb things like fun answers that are 3 years old
Who's a troll here, seriously. I know in the good old days we had problems with KCotreau acting against the community, but that was only in flags and about closing questions.
Kino is better of learning the site a bit at his level and spending his time into writing longer answers than into trying to improve the rest of Super User.
Clicked through his middle answers, through his latest and through his bests (Jeff Atwood actually improved that #1).
He's trying to do too much at the same time, also look at the amount of accounts he has across the community.
(Not that that last thing is actually a proof or anything, he could as well just registered everywhere to not have to register again or something. Or he was exploring one or another day...)
But really, I think there should at least go out a note to this user. I still have good faith in users though; the blog post could've been a mistake, the edit flood could've been a mistake, ...
@TomWijsman In both cases he didn't let it be after being told to stop (edit flood) or facing opposition (comments on the answer, disputes on the flags). When does persistence become trolling?
@TomWijsman Then I guess it's your own fault. As @slhck mentioned, eyes shut, playing deaf. At least be in Chat while doing something like this to have a feedback channel...
I don't have any good questions either... I don't think they're too relevant even if some were good. Regular contributors provide value more through answers than questions.
@DanielBeck Hmm, indeed, saw that pass a lot. And he's only been like 3 - 4 months on the Stack Exchange network...
So, for me it's either: Ask him to rearrange where he spent his times (into his answers) or suspend him. I think the mods should eventually consider having a talk with him or decide to put a definitive stop to this...
Was thinking about inviting him to chat in the beginning of this conversation or so, but he just stopped browsing SE the moment the meta question back-fired on him.
It seems that the community agrees that he's taking it too far, so he'd just need to accept that and move on. The retags are fine if they're in order and in accordance with what we established on Meta. The low quality answers are another issue, and if ZaB got suspended for them, at least kino should know that he should invest more time there.
