This user has a habit of posting a lot of self-promotion links. We've contacted him privately reminding him to obey the self-promotion rules from the FAQ, specifically with regards to disclosing his affiliation in answers. If you'd like to help, you could go back through his previous posts and edit in a blurb about him being affiliated with the product.

They don't need to be significant changes, just something to indicate that the user is affiliated. For example, see this edit revision or this one.

(Anyone else is also welcome to help with this, I just know gareth likes editing ;) )

Curious. The linked duplicate question really has little similarity to the OP's question.

Sounds like the OP wants to create system state backups on external drives/NAS. But he calls it a "restore point", which it isn't.
