@amWhy Hey, I wanted to quickly apologize for some things from yesterday. I didn't realize this was your room yesterday; I thought it was a general Math.SE room that you were appointed as a room owner in, but I didn't realize you created it. In that case, I apologize for my remarks on your responsibilities as a room owner; those comments don't make sense since this room is your own and not one you were elected/appointed to moderate.
Regarding moving messages to trash, I honestly don't really care about that particular user - they are suspended for a year, but that's only because I cannot suspend them for longer. But the reason I got rid of those messages is to keep consistent with the policy to not talk about or call out suspended users in general.
(Just FYI, timing out a room doesn't prevent users from joining or leaving as they wish. I understand the intention behind the timeout but it doesn't work.)
Anyway, I was frustrated by the suspended user just like you, and I apologize if I spoke more harshly to you than I normally would. I stand by my decision to discourage talking about suspensions or pointing out suspended users by name, but my comments about room ownership were out of misunderstanding and I am sincerely sorry about that.

@hyper-neutrino No problem, thanks for commenting. Don't worry. I understand the need to discourage talk about suspensions of users, from any site. They just seemed to be so irrelevant to math.se, but I understand the overall policy. Cheers!

@amWhy I definitely agree - they're not part of math.se and were being totally disuptive. To be honest with you, there isn't actually much we can do as moderators about it - I destroyed their chat profile and deleted their main account, but even while suspended, users can restore both of those. It's annoying, but unfortunately ignoring them is the best we can do because of that :/
Anyway, I'm glad we could come to an understanding. Thanks and take care :)

@hyper-neutrino I understand. And I'm sorry that I felt the need to "show how annoying entering/leaving/entering/leaving ..." can be in the chat on Code Gulf.
@hyper-neutrino Indeed! :-)

@XanderHenderson Maybe you can remember when I asked you here about interchanging conditionally convergent series :). After doing some hocus pocus I eventually found a beautiful way to solve this problem rigorously.

@vitamind Groovy! What was the trick, if I may ask?
