@quid How early did candidates arrive for the Tournament? Did they have to under a quarantine? At any rate, if they were not, it would have been wise for them to arrive at least 2 or 3 days early, to acclimate to the time zone.

@quid The standing after 8 rounds looks pretty close, more or less, two of the top three are only 1/2 point behind, two user a point from the top, ... It shall be interesting. The most attention seemed to be given to Caruana, for his win over MVL, to tie MVL. But I sometimes still struggle to understand the 8 by 8 grid, but I think I am getting it.

What are your thoughts on the tournament, thus far? There's been far more posted in general by folks analyzing how a year may have changed the momentum of players, and speculations. But I guess that's typical since the second part just started.
