@Safdar I have, but I found that in general they do not care about correctness, so I stopped.

@Safdar There was once I posted a mathematical correct answer, and all other answers were mathematically bogus, but users on Puzzling SE not only heavily downvoted me but also used argument from 'authority' instead of addressing the mathematical issues. So I gave up.

I wonder how such problems can be solved.

What would it take for universities around the world to truly put a stop to this kind of unambiguous bullying?

@amWhy: I noticed you deleted this. I don't see what's wrong with it at all, and can't understand the downvote. In fact, I think your answer is the best answer, because it uses weaker equivalences first... If you decide to undelete it let me know so that I can upvote it, though maybe you could also change the last bit to p→q ≡ ¬p∨q. =)

@user21820 Done, and done. I get targeted quite frequently on my answers, these days (spurious downvotes and such.).

I would understand if the downvote came before you fixed the error, but no, the downvote came a day after you fixed it so it makes no sense at all.
