Hi. Im currently trying to communicate with the reader through and arduino nano. Im using the arduino standard spi library and im still unable to read/ write any of the registers. I have tried different spi frequencies. I have also tried 5v and 3.3v arduino pin outputs to power the reader but still nothing

A bit of update. I have connected my arduino nano to the rfid reader. I have also connected an LED in series with the rfid input power pin. After a bit of playing around I realized that the MOSI and the SS pins have an effect on the system being powered. I found it that if the MOSI and the SS_pins are lowered from their original 4.8 V value to closer to 3.3V ( i was only able to achieve 3.45V) then the system remained powered on. However, I was still unable to read/write any of the registers.
Even though the manufacture specifications say that the device is 5V ready, I think the MOSI and chip_select, and SPI_CLK pins need to be 3.3V as I have found on some other forums. I might need to try to get hold of a level shifter to get accurate 3.3V outputs from MOSI chip select and SPI_CLK. Apparently if the voltage is not accurate then the system might not work. So far im still unable to communicate with the system. But at least I know that the correct powering circuitry was not in place
