@RoryAlsop still not sure how the water thing works... the jets make contact, so it should have immediately shorted out
 
@MiG yeah - I have a little skepticism. My guess, if it is real, is that by the time the two flows connect they are separated enough that there is no short

@RoryAlsop yeah, exactly - only thing I can think of is that the water's not salty (and tap water, so probably not containing any other conductive impurities), so that that 30cm to the floor is apparently enough for that

yeah - perfectly clean water is an insulator, like distilled.
But water that has soaking through a wall is not going to be clean.

That's the unusual part for me - tbh, it's streaming so probably has hardly any time to absorb minerals, but still... Considering the 'dropping electrics into the bathtub' trope, I assume that drinking water does have some conductive capacities
