Hello! I'm unsure if asking about tipping (ie money) to contractors or their crews doing work on your home would be on-topic here?
Seems like that would fall under "home improvement" generally but not actually "DIY".

Tipping isn't a thing here so I have no comments for you on that part.
Instead, it would be totally normal to support the on-site crew with coffee/lunch etc
