Just watched a video about changes in National Electrical Code 2020... The residential GFCI requirements section is expanding to include all 125V through 250V receptacles!
This is going to require electric dryer receptacles to be GFCI protected. Welder receptacles in the garage, will also require GFCI protection!
They also changed it so that ALL basement receptacles have to be GFCI protected.
@Tester101 -- yeah, the GFCI changes are going to be a bit of a big deal
I recall seeing an article once that mentioned they'd be making it explicit in the Code that metal boxes/cabinets were legitimate parts of an equipment grounding path
Hello. I'd like to ask a question but I'm not sure it would be a good one. Basically: one of the rooms in my home is colder than others, but I can't tell why - what are some good approaches to identifying where heat may be leaking or insulation might be insufficient?
