Hi. A question about soundproofing. I get the idea of room inside a room and my doubt is wrt inner walls. All videos and articles mention building the inner brick wall on a layer of rubber like material to avoid floor contact. My question is this - how would such a wall, and thus the inner room, stand intact when the base is not attached to floor with concrete?

@vin Are you worried about your brick wall floating away? Shouldn't be a problem as long as you aren't building it in space.
