@ʁəʄɘləmɘlə I wonder if one reason for the close votes on the 'perfunctory' one is that when you flag a post, the default button easy to hand is 'close'. (You used the flag to signal a related issue, the possibility of serial downvoting, but the system presents it as a problem with the question.)

@ʁəʄɘləmɘlə Nevertheless, it's valid as a concern to bring up for moderation. Serial DV + serial close votes is definitely worth looking into if it continues at all. I'm not sure how to see more in-depth votes than the simple mod dashboard I get, but on said dashboard we can at least rule out 5+ downvotes from any one user (and it could be even less; I just get a descending search of votes received grouped by user that terminates at 5, which are groups of positive votes in your case).

(But of course 3 from one user in a short span of time would still be something to watch. I'll ask other mods about tools for more in-depth checks.)
