The quasi-local one is now restricted to “locals only”. Which is kind of super frustrating. We are usually in town twice a week at least. Now we are permitted to walk past the stalls, buy a snack at the bakery, go to the restaurant next to it, but not buy a Bratwurst/Glühwein/whatever literally five meters away from each. There are a few weird exceptions, too.
Like, if you work in town, you count as “local”. So I have the impossible task of explaining to the minors why their teachers may buy the candied almonds they can’t buy. (My kids are fully vaccinated per their own request, since the summer.) I asked and got a response from the mayor (which is kind of cool), but the logical fallacy was immediately exposed by the 12yo.
Oh boy. If everyone is following the 2G why would they also need to be local? The only thing this will do is make people break the rules and reduce profit for the vendors. Does not sound very thought through
@SerenaT They had a very good approach considering the rules up to Tuesday. Place the stalls all over town to avoid clusters of visitors. Now there’s 2G+ (which wouldn’t be a problem), but are worried that with all other markets being canceled, crowds could come and overwhelm everything.
But on the brighter side, I can go to my vacation next week. (To BW hehe) Since its a hotel and they have 2G it should be fine. I really need that vacation
