I think "reprogramming" Beatrice is working, we're at 10 full days now of no peeing on the bed. I forgot to close the bedroom this morning while I was getting ready and all she did was play with her ball on it. :)

I did catch her yesterday trying to squat on the litter mat, and moved her to the box. She hasn't tried again yet, so fingers crossed... I'll probably put a trash bag under the litter mat jut to be sure anyway, though.

Yeah, and we just refinished the floor in that room a couple of months ago, I'd like to not ruin it with cat pee before I even move into it :)

you never quite get the smell out

it's winter now, too, so it'll have an easy time getting between the floorboards, there's pretty good gaps between a lot of them.
