Yvette told me to post cat pictures here. :-) This is Orlando taking a break from his usual chaos:

aww stripycat...
those are my second favourite sort of cat.

What's your first-favorite sort?

3:30 AM
Ginger toms
there's been 2-3 lovely super friendly ones in my neighbourhood

including this giant, scarred one eyed brute, who'd flop over in the middle of the pavement and demand petting.

My first pair of kitties (10 weeks old when I got them) included a ginger tabby.
@JourneymanGeek heh. It's nice when they're that friendly! My stray took forever before she'd let herself be so vulnerable around me.

@MonicaCellio singapore's odd
people arn't allowed cats in most housing
but most strays in places with people are fairly used to people
but that's kind of a different level of friendliness
there's a few that miao to be petted

this little lady for example, will only give you the time of day if she's in the mood

She looks comfortable. Your timekeeping needs are your own problem, clearly.

3:36 AM
clearly ;p
oh, she kind of has this little hillside territory
she's not really a block of flats cat

Orlando is now demanding attention from the staff (i.e. me), and it's close to human bed-time here. Later!

@JourneymanGeek Haha!! Slow mo close up! I love it
@MonicaCellio Ah, that looks very cosy!
@JourneymanGeek Fascinating to watch the behaviour in slow mo actually
@YvetteColomb Edited :P

@Henders quite. Now I need to catch him doing the shake

our new boy - arrived today

8:10 AM
@YvetteColomb That's the foal?!

I was wondering the same thing

@Henders he's a yearling - 16 months old - a colt == male + foal
he's an Australian Brumby

@YvetteColomb They're born 16 months old?!

Lol different horselet.

8:12 AM
Ah. That makes sense...

I think both Henders and I assumed it was the pregnant horse's foal

That I did.

Ahhhh no he's not LOLOLOLOL
that makes sense
I was thinking -- Henders humour is lacking today
I have to go \0

@YvetteColomb That's every day :P

@Henders meh - you're humour is fair to mid fair to mid LOL

Hey @KarlRichter, Thanks for helping to keep the site clean and tidy! It's much appreciated!
I'm really interested in the answer to this question:

Q: Why does my relative's dog stay between me and home on a walk?

AndrezA relative's dog, who only know's me a little, will follow me on a walk but on the way out will stay behind and then as soon as I turn back home will go ahead. Is this simple submissive/safety behaviour, keeping escape home clear?

Dog psychology. Any thoughts @JourneymanGeek @RebeccaRVT?

not really sure >_>
Ash usually is the one dragging me along ;p

Yeah, or I'd expect it to be dragging home the whole time. I suppose it kind of is but just not really pulling.

Q: How much Dry and soft(canned) dog food to feed 180 lb. E Mastiff?

Mary T. LeidnerMy question is, I am keeping our sons full grown e Mastiff for a while and have been feeding him 16 0z of Dry with 1 can of Pedigree in the am and 8 oz of dry and I/2 can soft food in the evening. Is this enough ?

@JourneymanGeek laugh "Hey, what's this thing you're pointing at me? Let's get a close look!"
@YvetteColomb he and his brother were my first cats. This one (Erik) was a real sweetie.

@MonicaCellio He also dislikes being photographed and getting in facelicking range and pushing aside the camera with his nose or hiding at my feet helps ;p

@YvetteColomb lovely!
@JourneymanGeek a shy dog! Who knew?

@MonicaCellio heh, he photographs well, when distracted ;p

He does!

Q: Will a Norwegian skogkatt (forest cat) feel good in Sydney?

AlexanderI'd like to have a skogkatt but am concerned that it would feel uncomfortably hot in Australia, with all of its thick fur. So the question is: will a weggie be able to adapt to hot and humid climate?

@MonicaCellio he's a sweetheart :)
@MonicaCellio nice

2:59 PM
@YvetteColomb heh, my mom was asking when the foal was due ;p

@JourneymanGeek 3-4 weeks :D say hi to your Mum

@RebeccaRVT It is a private pet clinic. There is no private pet hospital. Hospital means facility having 24 hours emergency facility. And government pet hospitals have poor infrastructure
@Henders @trondhansen @RebeccaRVT did you read my full story?

3:22 PM
@Sonevol Yep :)

How was it? Did you like it?

3:37 PM
I'm probably not the best person to comment on writing to be honest :P But yeah there seemed to be a lot going on.
And some grammar bits that might need attention
Did you ask writers.SE?

Q: Why does my dog have aggressive bursts?

MoxyWe just got a Jack Russel female dog from the shelter a couple of months ago. She is 5 years old. One of the annoying behaviours she has is to become aggressive all of a sudden and even bite sometimes. This happen often in relaxed scenarios where she is resting/sleeping next to us on the couch a...

@Henders could I successfully represent a girl's mentality?

That is beyond my knowledge I'm afraid :/

I tried in writers stack exchange, but it seems to be an inactive site, with hardly one ping a day in their chat room
Do you think there is any chance of refusal in kindle publishers due to anti-China mentality?

4:25 PM
@Sonevol just peeking in for a moment, if you are looking for a place to publish try smashwords.com

I get a complex, when I make a post and everyone stops talking for hours!!!
