@trondhansen he will not be big. He is not the newborn foal in June. He was born the beginning of the year. Yeh I love summer. I don't like winter

Q: How old can cat be a kitten

user2617804How old can cat be a kitten to a mother cat given that they would have both have to be sterilised? If not sterilised they either try to breed or co-breed. Is there a record old kitten?

@Henders nope I don't own a snake

9:06 AM
Ah, just wondered where you saw that, it's crazy! Looks like a pumpkin. Brian Barczyk had a very similar smiley one. Could be the same snake!

@YvetteColomb That's beautiful!!
@YvetteColomb Love this one as well!
So much badness when I'm not here! It's awesome!
How y'all doin' today?

Q: Why does my cat go “crazy” when I scratch her in certain places?

A.ButtWhen I scratch my cat in certain places she tends to go “crazy”. Crazy as in: she’ll bob her head up and down or side to side quickly, she’ll open and close her mouth quickly, and she’ll start licking the closet object to her face aggressively. I’ve also noticed that there are little bumps in the...

@Henders So they are just a few weeks away from growing fully adult?

I'd say it is full grown now but it's quite hard to tell sometimes. Naturally, some are bigger than others

9:36 AM
@Henders Here is good! We're in another heat wave. Expected to reach 35 today.

@RichieACC Lol, 2 degrees here! Chilly! :P
Although I'm sure 2 degrees is warm for @trondhansen :p

Would you like me to send a few degrees your way? :p

A J
@Henders Okay.

@RichieACC Yeah, please :p

tee hee

9:44 AM
@AJ I got 3 albino catfish at the same time. One of them is big, one is medium and then there's a tiny little one. They all seem to eat the same but the small one just doesn't grow at the same rate. I guess this is why if you have a really large nice specimen of a fish it's worth more than a smaller one

A J
Ah. You know a lot about fishes, don't you?

10:03 AM
@Henders two degrees C is cold and if the air is moist it is even colder :) this time last year we had lots of snow but so far this year nothing,only rain and lots of it and 3-7C.

@AJ Just what I've found out through my own experience

A J
@Henders Well, experience is the best teacher. ;)

@trondhansen Ah, I thought it would be colder than 2C in Norway!
@AJ Deep :p

normaly it is colder at this time of year,in the end of september one can expect frost at night and snow in mid november.how is your pond and your outdoor fish.

@trondhansen Yeah, it's fine. Consistently a good couple of degrees warmer than the ground temp. The fish are settling in I think. They're swimming higher in the water etc and not just hiding all the time.
It will be nice to give their first feed in spring :D

10:21 AM
it is fun to see the fish for the first time in spring,my pond is covered by styrofoam atm and my fish goes as deep in my pond as possible so they are hard to see.

Your pond is like 5 feet deep though, right? :O

yes and the styrofoam makes it dark in my pond so i do not see life down there until i remove it.

Yeah, I guess that helps them basically just sleep through winter too

i think so,i keep one small pump running to keep an opening in the ice but there is no ice forming yet.

Nice, I'm monitoring my pond temp closely at the moment to see what it is over the winter.
It's fascinating :P

10:33 AM
the hardest time for pondfish is in the spring the imunesystem is weak after winter,so one have no loss of fish during winter but spring can be hard.
and the temparature often fluctuates most in the spring.

10:50 AM
@trondhansen Do you ever change the water in your pond?

i do this one or two times a year,in 2017 i changed water 3 times and the water company called me and asked if i had a leak somewhere :)
it takes two days to change it all,33000 liters is a lot of water.

@trondhansen hahahaha! That's funny! :P
I can't even get my head around 33,000 litres

11:07 AM
@Henders i did get an discount on my bill too,first one pays to get the water and then one have to pay to get rid of it(water&waste water bill)the water company gave me an discount on the water i released in a storm drain from my pond.

11:48 AM
@trondhansen Oh you've got a handy storm drain nearby?
I guess they may even notice an increase in the output of the storm drain if you're suddenly draining 33k litres into it :P What kind of rate does it pump it out at?

it is a few meters from the pond so most of it ends there,it was put there to avoid flooding my neighbours lawn :) rain and melt water used to flow there so a storm drain was put there.
i do not think my water makes a difference unless it have been dry for a long time :)
i am pumping at a rate of 15000 liters an hour when i change the water,filling is an other ballgame it takes time.

12:13 PM
@trondhansen 15000 litres per hour! That's huge! Must be like a fire hose

i use 40 mm hose so it is possible to put out a fire quite fast but the pressure is low.

I'd love to see some pics of it drained if you've got some

12:37 PM
i do not think i have any pictures of it but maybe next summer.one time after i had changed the water it was so crystal clear that my cat electra could not see the surface of the water when she drank so she put her nose under water and her head bobbed up and down four times,i realy wish i had it on film it was beyond funny lol

Q: Can a puppy with its first vaccinations meet a dog that’s not fully vaccinated?

TomAll in the title, really. Over Christmas, my puppy will have had his first vaccination. I want to bring him to see family over this time but a dog he will meet hasn’t had yearly boosters, only her initial 8 and 12 week vaccines. Is it safe for them to meet?

@Henders Maxxed out on rep two days in a row with my first two answers. 32 words and 22 words respectively. LOL, I was even feeling a bit smart-ass with what felt like a painfully obvious answer to the "weighing my cat" one.
