Q: Time for separate beta sites - cats.stackexchange.com and dogs.stackexchange.com?

SonevolConsidering the predominant number of questions with either cats tag or dogs tag is it time for two separate sister sites - cats.stackexchange.com and dogs.stackexchange.com with this site only for non-cat and non-dog pets?

@Sonevol it is about what is most fun to do,cats can often walk into a room and forget why they entered it just as people do.

@trondhansen that question you liked was a bit too general to be really of much help there

9:12 AM
@JAD ok comment removed.

JAD
Ok, maybe that came across a bit harsh. It's useful information for sure, but it didn't contain an answer

I see your yearly snake question arrived, @JAD :P

Why am I unable to get any cap? @Henders
Just now askubuntu gave me a cap

10:48 AM
Have you put it on?
Ah, did you click 'I hate hats' at all? It looks like you've disabled hats for yourself

How to enable?

@Sonevol Do you see the snowflake on the top bar?

@trondhansen By eliminate I mean nature's call. Is it even possible to forgrt to answer to nature's call when one sees geeko
@Henders that's the problem, other sister sites are showing me that but not this site

Hmm, okay, hang on. I'll ask

I mean this site is showing me but when I click in the pop up menu other sister sites are only mentioned, not this site. @Henders

11:18 AM
Open google image search and type "idiot" lol so funny :):):) ha ha ha rofl

@Sonevol Ah, you mean you've only got the hat on AskUbuntu?
You can wear a hat from any site on any other sites
Sorry if I'm misunderstanding your problem :P
Does this help you?

Q: Can users opt back in to the Winter Bash after clicking "I hate hats"?

Steven M. VascellaroAccording to the Winter Bash 2017 FAQ, users can opt-out of the Winter Bash by clicking "I hate hats" in the snowflake menu. I hate hats! How do I get rid of them? When you click the snow flake icon in the top bar, a popup appears that has a link labeled "I hate hats!" This will turn o...

Vim, stackoverflow as well @Henders

@Sonevol Can you screenshot the controls on the top bar? like I did above?

11:34 AM

Is that on Pets?

yep

And you've got this button at the bottom of it..?

yep

Well that's weird. You could ask a question on meta SE and they should be able to help you. Just double check it hasn't been asked before :)

11:39 AM
ok

11:53 AM
@Henders
Well History and movies have not given me as well

Yeah, sorry I can't really help you any further because there might be a bug. Best way to get an answer is to ask on Meta SE

12:41 PM
@Sonevol click on the hat you want and a window will open and click on wear hat.it is the same as last year.
and yes cats do forget to eliminate but not for long :)

I think there's a problem though - If you look at your profile on the activity tab there is a hat with a 1 in it. If you look at sonevols, there isn't

yesterday it was slow to load for some time.i have no idea why he does have problems
@Sonevol do you see the hat in your profile it is below location and the other stuff on the right hand side.
@Henders you are right i did misunderstand i did think it was something only he could see.i hope ithe error is not affecting others.

1:11 PM

Q: Will my dog want to harm my guinea pig?

Madison LandonionI let my guinea pigs run around my room a little bit, and normally my dog will walk in in the midst of them playing. I would expect it to be a cute little duo, but I am afraid that my dog may be a precaution. His breed is a mix. He is part schnauzer, and italian greyhound.

@RebeccaRVT He asks for a shower?!

yep!
I have so many photos and videos in my drive lmao
I have a problem

2:34 PM
Can;t find my good one
Best I got is him taking a shower lol

Q: what humane way can I discipline a dog?

user185932Ok so recently my dog(I don't know if this matters but she's a K9) has been chewing everything outside which I'd presume because she's teething but she is 6 months and I don't know how long teething will last in dogs. So what's a way to train her not to chew or play with things I don't want her ...

Q: How do I help to heal a bird that has fallen from its nest?

Madison LandonionI was going to mow my lawn, when I heard a eally high pitched squeal from my tree. I went over to examine, and their was a small blue bird. I don't really see blur birds, and they aren't exactly what you can consider your common bird. I want to do anything I can to help the birdy heal. It doesn't...
