@motosubatsu - I just read your work place answer (Hot network). Nice job :O

@Henders the employer-macbook one?

@motosubatsu Yeah
Interesting read

@Henders thanks... I had to look up a couple of references for it (mainly for the links) but a worrying amount of that info is just sitting around collecting dust in my head. It's an interesting topic though, and one that a surprising amount of employers and employees know very little about - or believe things that aren't true
the amount of utter tosh I've seen posted on the internet about it makes me shudder

Yeah, the difference in the indian law was what initially hooked me.

@Henders yeah ironically India was one of the regions where my knowledge was a little sketchy beforehand and I had to do quite a lot of knowledge refreshing on it - their law in this area is a little strange to my eyes, some areas are buttoned down very tightly and others are practically a free for all

@motosubatsu I have a very simple policy. If It isn't work related, and important, its not on a work laptop ;p
@Henders ^

@JourneymanGeek eminently sensible..I do the same, it's the best bet to ensure you are always in the clear IMO

@motosubatsu also tended to use a non mod account on a work system

and/or disposable openid ;p

@JourneymanGeek yeah personal accounts + work hardware don't mix

11:03 AM
@motosubatsu the one where I used a non mod account...
the system was in such a terrible state that I didn't trust it ;p

@JourneymanGeek ugh.. I know the sort of system you mean, the ones where you feel the need to disinfect your very soul after using them

@motosubatsu "I don't know where that's been!"

@HarryVervet Any thoughts on the Site's Self Evaluation on meta? :)
@ChristyB. - Same ^

Q: How to teach my dogs not to wander on their own?

marczellmI have two dogs. No idea of the breed, they're from a shelter. I live in a house with a relatively large garden, on the slope of a forested hill in the middle of town. The garden would be ideal because my dogs love to run a lot. Unfortunately as we live on a slope, the ground erodes from under t...

Nice answer, @HarasBrummi
And quick response time too :P

@Henders heh. That's one issue I have with pets. I never actually trained my dog
and my methods are strange. I just talk to him, and help him cross roads. ;p

Cute :P I can't wait to get a dog
I love my Bicher too now. I named him 'Byron' :P
Also, you realise how excited and how many photos I'll post here when I finally do get a dog! :P It will probably just crash imgur

lol
My dog actually tends to play hard to get when I try to photograph him

Q: How high can an unprotected second level be in a hamster cage?

aparente001I have read that hamsters must be protected from injury due to accidental falls. They're apparently the total opposite of cats in this regard. I am starting to make DIY hamster toys out of cardboard, wood and popsicle sticks. What is the threshold that's still safe? How high can I make a seco...
