GENERAL: Rugged and light-weight, the Delta-Ten series assault rifle is constructed largely from ultra-light metallic and thermoplastic alloys, the exception being exotic materials (classified) used in the construction of the weapon's firing apparatus. By itself the rifle weighs only 4 kg, although weight increases to 9.5 kg when including the overshoulder feed line and chamber loaded with the maximum caliber round.
