Just in case anyone in Europe was unaware Drone users face new rules across Europe and UK

I suspect that quite a few people with small drones might get caught out!

Why has the FAA recently greatly expanded the number of zero-ceiling grid squares on the LAANC map near Glens Falls NY? It looks like an unreasonable airspace grab to me. Are they going to go this route every time an area of E2 Class-E-to-surface is airspace is expanded, as recently happened at this location? See aviation.stackexchange.com/questions/83112/…

Hopefully the question will get re-opened there; otherwise it will probably get migrated here. But-- anyone have any ideas?

@quietflyer I cannot think of any operational reason you didn't cover. All I could guess at is noise ordinance from towns in that area, perhaps?
