@MartinSleziak I don't think the crisis is over, given levels of cases and vaccinations worldwide but it's no longer such a hot button issue now.
Also, while I'm sure I and the community at large appreciates you keeping the room unfrozen it's not necessarily required given the regularity that our main chat is used
i.e. If this chat gets frozen, then it's ok to leave it that way and let people request is be opened by asking in chat.stackexchange.com/rooms/11/trpg-general-chat
@AncientSwordRage Just to spell this out clearly - you suggest to let this room freeze, right?
Of course, as a mod you can freeze the room immediately - but from your message it seems that you prefer to let it go "in the natural way". (I.e., to keep it if there is some discussion in the room.)
@AncientSwordRage From what I've seen, The Assembly is the recommended room for requesting unfreezing: How do I unfreeze a frozen chat room?
@MartinSleziak yeah let it freeze the natural way.... I'm in no way advocating it to be artificially frozen!
Thanks for letting me know!
@MartinSleziak I've never heard of this room 🤷🏻‍♂️

A: How do I unfreeze a frozen chat room?

Michael MrozekRoom owners can't unfreeze a room; you need a moderator to do it. You could mod flag something and ask that way, or drop a request into the The Assembly room. Said moderator would then do so from the "access" tab of the room's overview page (accessed via the "info" link).

So I guess I should remain silent. At least for 14 days. :-)
See you later - and have a nice day!

@MartinSleziak I've been a mod longer than I've not been a mod so... 🤷🏻‍♂️
@MartinSleziak you too, but please come back sooner if you have something positive to share!

@MartinSleziak for my part I just want to confirm I have plenty of positive stuff to share, I just do not need a pandemic positivity room in which to share it. I can use other channels, and do so.
the concept of a pandemic positivity room isn't necessary at this point, so I'd also rather see it close than artificially keep it open for months & just assume nobody has any good news.
I'm for the room being allowed to freeze. Come join us in other rooms we're actually using. It can be trivially unfrozen if and when we need it again.
@doppelgreener Just to be clear, the room wasn't actually my idea and it wasn't created by me. (But I guess that's more-or-less obvious.)
In any case, I hear you loud and clear and I do not intend to keep it open.
Funny that just mentioning that room should be frozen brought here more activity than usually. :-)
To some extent, the fact that I noticed this room was simply a consequence of that fact that on Role-playing Games you had the Coronavirus Chat Zone.
