@NautArch my buddy the psych prof had about five on line courses already. Three weeks ago he began converting his other classes to on line platform. He's now done. So he called me today: while his colleagues are scrambling to get their stuff rebuilt that way, he was home at noon, taking his nap. He called me at work to rub it in. 8^D
Friends do that, it made me laugh.

Possibly silly thing - I made a video of myself reading one of my favourite kids books tonight. If you want a small comfort thing, let me know and I can share a link. I am going to try to keep finding things to read.
@Ash My girls and I are listening to Little House on the Prarie these nights. (We did Little House in the Big Woods back during the winter.) They're sympathizing with how Laura and Mary mostly have just each other to play with.
It's a YA novel about a Chinese-Korean girl moving into the Dakota Territory from California, in the same time period as Little House. It's written by a Korean-American who grew up with the Little House books and her novel is in conversation with those books.
I was talking with a friend about how our Twitter feeds can be full of panic and worry without a lot of balance, and we started sharing accounts that help us. I recommend Positive Whoniverse for anybody who enjoys Doctor Who.
Fonts in Use is an independent archive collecting examples of typography in the wild. Their twitter account is here.
If you're trying to use Twitter's "muted words" feature to curate your timeline, make sure that every word on the list is muted on all tweets, not just on tweets from people you don't follow. It's a checkbox in the settings for each muted word, so fixing it after you've muted a lot of words can be tedious.
I was going to learn to play the accordion (using the "free hours" of not having to commute) but my SO is also remoting indefinitely so probably I won't be allowed to

@BESW Only Lorenz's Gumroad books are free; but you can find links to buy the others on Lorenz's own webpage, and I mean why wouldn't you be shelling out a few bucks for Unicorns Are Jerks and Fat Ladies in Spaaaaace?
Tomorrow, to get back into the art groove, I'm gonna use this paper cutout technique (Youtube tutorial for Procreate, works for most any digital drawing program) on one of Lorenz's coloring pages.
Then maybe I'll try it on a sunset I've been stuck on.
For warm cuddly news: our daughter and her husband (in the music business) are taking a break to just be creative. They sent the whole family a passle of cute pictures of our 6 month old grand daughter this morning. The Aaaaw, cute factor was turned up to 11.
@AncientSwordRage That will keep kids amused for perhaps part of a morning. Give them a large empty cardboard box or three to play with. Hours of fun. :)
