The question Solution to Volterra type integral equation of first kind is missing a top-level tag. What would be a good tag for that question? Perhaps ?

Q: Solution to Volterra type integral equation of first kind

Hari KrishnanI have an integral equation like this $\qquad n(\phi)=\int_0^\sqrt{\phi} f(w)\sqrt{2w+\phi}dw$. I need to find $f(w)$ analytically. Here $n(\phi) = -\frac{2}{\delta ^2 \phi }-\frac{2 e^{-\phi } \sqrt{\phi }}{\sqrt{\pi }}+\frac{e^{-\phi }}{\sqrt{\pi } \sqrt{\phi }}$, and $\phi$ is a constant.

Since the question Are there other nice math books close to the style of Tristan Needham? has recently been bumped, it might be reasonable to look at the tags. Would be a suitable choice there? (Unlike Mathematics, MO does not have (book-recommendation) tag - only the one called (textbook-recommendation).)

Q: Are there other nice math books close to the style of Tristan Needham?

Marco DisceI've been very positively impressed by Tristan Needham's book "Visual Complex Analysis", a very original and atypical mathematics book which is more oriented to helping intuition and insight than to rigorous formalization. I'm wondering if anybody knows of other nice math books which share this p...

There might be more cases of this, but there are at least two pairs of tags which are exactly for the same thing - so perhaps creating a tag synonym would be a reasonable solution. One pair of tags is and . The other one is and .
Congrats to Arun Debray on the synonymizer badge.
And is now a synonym of : mathoverflow.net/tags/dg-algebras/synonyms According to this mathoverflow.net/tags/synonyms the synonym was created by François G. Dorais on February 10.
I see that there are also some new synonyms which resolve the problem with and .
@FrançoisG.Dorais I see that you have made some synonyms related to the problem I mentioned here: chat.stackexchange.com/transcript/10243/2019/2/10
The one which remains missing is - which was the old name for . The old name is linked both in Why are MO tags formatted as they are? and in Frequently asked questions about tagging on MathOverflow.
And since I asked about this tag, I will ask also what you think about Should it be a synonym, too? meta.mathoverflow.net/questions/194/help-improve-tagging/…

A: Help improve tagging!

Martin SleziakI suggest to create a tag synonym analysis-and-odes $\to$ ca.classical-analysis-and-odes. The tag analysis-and-odes has only five questions and empty tag info - so it does not seem to have any distinction from ca.classical-analysis-and-odes. Four of the five questions in this tag were asked by t...

In any case, thanks for creating the two synonyms of the old names and also for . (Possibly the corresponding answer to Help cleanup tags! could be updated, but maybe this can be done later, together with some other synonyms from that list.)
