When talking about deprecated tags, I should have also mentioned this proposal: The existing deprecated tags should be blacklisted.

This would at least prevent those tags from being added to new questions. (So the number of question with the depreacated tags would stop growing - without editors needing to watch them and remove them from new questions, like YCor did in this questions.)
