I have asked this before, but maybe I can try one more time. (If nothing else, it serves also as reminder of a discussion on meta which is not fully resolved.)
specific-question I'd guess that the use covering on Understanding equivalent condition for covering dimension is not the intended one. (Although possibly the covering tag should be removed entirely, or divided into other tags: How should questions about (various meanings of) coverings be tagged?.)
