Q: What is the caste of people who evolved from apes?

IkshvakuThose who believe that caste is based on birth assert that caste is based gotra (ancestral lineage). For example, Brahmanas came from some Rishis. Assuming some people evolved from apes, and assuming caste is based on birth. What would their caste be? Mleccha?

Is this a serious question?
assuming some people? ALL people evolved from some hominid which was previously evolved from the same family as apes. It's a fact. It's why we share 99% of our DNA with chimps. Now which hominids we all came from is more disparate. Overall a large number of us come from homo sapien with some genetic input from homo neadertalis and homo denisovan. Only the africans among us have DNA from only homo sapien. Others are intermixed with homo heidelbergensis DNA (sapien and neandertal) and some Homo erectus who populated Asia and a couple of hominids we have yet to discover.
@LazyLubber Yes, since these people are not descended from Rishis, they have no gotra, and hence no caste. So now how to treat them?
@KauvaAatma Sharing 99% of DNA with apes does not prove evolution. Humans and apes were created similarly so they have close DNA.
@Ikshvaku According to evolution, even rishis descended from apes.
@LazyLubber I think the people who believe in evolution deny rishis, etc.

@Ikshvaku That might be a sweeping generalization
Race of Hanuman is different and Vanara ape-like. Apart from them there were many races of Nagas(snakes and reptile people), Yakshas, Danavas, Daitya, Gandharavas coexisting on earth with race of Men as mentioned in Puranas. These races are called homo capensis, homo erectus, giants etc., today in science and have inter-mixed with humans also. These people dominate in different realms/lokas(14 kind of lokas) or in other words other solar systems.
I am sorry @Ikshvaku but you are incorrect. It is precisely by DNA that I know we descended from a common ancestor of apes and chimps. The NOTCH2NL genetic deformation on chromosome 1 originally happened in an ancestor common to both man and ape about 14 MYA. Sometime after the pan genus (orangutan) split away that fractured segment recopied in man's ancestry as well as apes and chimps ... but not the pans (and they lack the new one to this day). Then 13.5 MYA it recopied itself 3x on homo sapiens chromosome 1, all active, and increased our cerebellum neuron density about 6 times. It's fact.
this spot on chromosome 1 is considered unstable by geneticists to this day and often results in abnormal genetic conditions such as ADD, ADHD, and autism. We are currently working with the chinese government to gain ancient DNA samples from northern China where there have been ancient stories of giganticism and abnormal physical conditions. This happens to also be the area where an earlier hominid (homo erectus) may have populated the region many years before the hominid spread that came through the middle east area. This DNA contains superarchaic sequences predating our own by millenia.

@KauvaAatma, "ancient stories of giganticism and abnormal physical conditions" - they are not 'abnormal'.. our scriptures mention that average height decreases each Yuga. People in Treta Yuga were ~8ft tall. In Dwapara, ~7 ft tall. In Kali, ~6 ft, and by the end of Kali, 5.
@KauvaAatma, none is denying that DNA is similar. That is FACT. Fact cannot be questioned. But modern 'physical' evolution theory believers make an INFERENCE based on that FACT. Inferences can always be questioned. In fact, I can make another inference based on the same fact, that the DNA is similar because of 'spiritual' evolution. A soul takes on a different body each birth, and based on it's actions in this birth, either gets promoted to a 'deva' body, or demoted to an 'ape' body, or repeats the same class 'human'.
ok whatever. the NOTCH2NL aberrations are certainly unique enough to make the odds astronomical that they aren't related. denying it is rather flimsy if you're actually trying to find the truth instead of just protecting a held belief. we call that confirmation bias when you try to read something in order to fit in your prior view.

@KauvaAatma, i find it ironic & hilarious that the person who is trying to protect Darwin's belief (someone who explicitly mentioned in his own Origin of Species that his theory is a speculation), is condescending someone who is trying to discuss the belief of ancient rishis.
@KauvaAatma, of course they are 'related'. the DNA evidence is there. 2 siblings are related. But they were created by a parent. They were not descended from each other. So far, we are in agreement (science speculates man & ape have a common ancestor). Why, even our scriptures say that Kashya Prajapati was the progenitor of both eagle species and snake species. So, yes, it is very possible they have a common ancestor. But that's not what we are debating here. We're debating the belief that a physical chain of birth exists without any 'intelligent design'.
@KauvaAatma, Brahma is the most common ancestor for all species. He created 8.4 million species, each varying slightly from the next in DNA. Each soul goes through these different bodies just as a child goes from class 1 to class 2 to.. class 12. That is the reason why DNA is similar, because they were designed that way.

@KauvaAatma man has not evolved from ape physically but spiritually. Every human that you see today was not made human directly. They have undergone several births starting from insect to reptile to mammal to Man which can be seen in Dashavatar of Narayan. There are trillion of souls on earth in form of insects-reptiles-mammals etc., but only 7 billion are born as human. Man is made in the image of God that is why Man and God both are called Purusha/Nara/Narayan(collection of Nara) in Vedas/Puranas. Charles Darwin, who said man evolved from apes was freemasonry just like corrupt Rothschild.
Scientifically humans did not evolve from apes but have a common ancestor. Also, I cannot recall from any scripture that evolution is being detailed. If anything the race of apes fron which Hanuman sprung was a different kind of species as compared to men.
Darwin theory is more apt for people in west who dont believe in soul and only one birth, as is modern made up theory just like crippled Hawking has proved that there is no God and people mindlessly believed them or were forced to believe so by corrupt media. But are Hawking and Darwin some avatar/prophets to make decisions for mankind? Did they showed any signs or miracles or reformed the society and evolved their consciousness or gave them any law? No.
Hawking never proved that there is no god since that is impossible to do. Moreover, the theories they posted were scientifically being proven correct.
Science itself is created by God to heighten the intellect-reasoning of mankind, instead of mindlessly living like brutes.A modern educated person from starting, ponders the cause of everything outside in matter. Spirituality on the other hand motivates a person to find the mechanism of inside. Science is not an accident but a planned invention of cosmic consciousness to bring entire humanity closer to their origin which is Self. Telephone, television these are material manifestation of spiritual siddhis like Durdharshan, Durshravan. But understand resources are limited but spirit is limitless
@KauvaAatma No matter how much evidence you present in favor of evolution, you cannot convince the hardcore believer.
11:17
If anyone thinks man has evolved from apes or insects, they can worship them. But what one worships and thinks one will become. Man is divine in nature and made for enlightenment. Every being is seeking freedom but as long he is associated with matter and inferior realms like insects he is always bound. Thats why a man looks up in Sky for help as infinite is the cause behind him not some evolved insect.
@KauvaAatma you are wrong, the apes and humans have a common ancestor as confirmed from DNA. The humans did not evolve from apes but rather have a common ancestor.
