The best bit about being at college is being there with all the other students. Taking part in all the activities. You'll be able to go rafting again :-)

Yes, what happened?

9:15 AM
restra owner was getting bit franked with me I ordered the food xx and he had asked me to wait for some time to get it packed
(I am in jaipur)
after few minutes he comes to me asked where do i live,
what my dad do
where I earlier was
I did answer those question but i gave false information to him
since morning I am getting irritated with his franked question

Why false information? Just because you were annoyed?

@JohnRennie yes

OK :-)

restra

Maybe he was just trying to be friendly.

9:19 AM
except my dad name I said everything lie

OK ...

is it natural to ask such question
or he had some intentional goals behind it

It's hard to see what harm his questions could do.

ok I think I developed the habit of overthinking
sir do u know about jim corbett?
@JohnRennie

It does seem a bit odd that he suddenly started asking questions, but he could just have been trying to be friendly.
This guy:
Jim Corbett (25 July 1875 – 19 April 1955) was a British hunter, tracker, naturalist, and author who hunted a number of man-eating tigers and leopards in India. He held the rank of colonel in the British Indian Army and was frequently called upon by the Government of the United Provinces of Agra and Oudh, now the Indian states of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand, to kill man-eating tigers and leopards that were preying on people in the nearby villages of the Kumaon-Garhwal Regions. He authored Man-Eaters of Kumaon, Jungle Lore, and other books recounting his hunts and experiences, which enjoyed...
I had never heard of him ...

@JohnRennie all alone

I remember you saying you had been on lots of expeditions into the desert in Rajasthan.

it is fun to be in environment where u are close to the very nature

I used to go walking a lot when I was younger.
Our nature reserves are a lot smaller than in India, but they are still fun to walk in.
I've got a bit old for walking up mountains these days :-)

9:41 AM
yes
@JohnRennie what about u sir,it is been a long time you shared anything?

Things have been back to normal in the UK since the summer, so life is just normal these days.

i heard there is another spike in europe
in belarus i guess

There are still cases of covid in the UK, but most people are vaccinated now so very few people are getting a serious infection. There are few deaths now.
I still wear a mask when I go out, but lots of people don't bother with a mask any more.
If you travel on train you still have to wear a mask.

did u write some answer on se recently

I don't answer many questions these days because I spend all my time coaching JEE students.

9:49 AM

Do you have a firm date yet for going back to college?

I will depart before 27dec

OK, still six weeks then.

yes

When are you going to the forest?

9:55 AM
I will be out in three days

Ok, going soon!
So if I never hear from you again I'll assume you did meet a tiger :-)

please sir!!!
do not let that happen

I'm sure it won't.

I will be on jeep not walking

Ah, so the tiger wouldn't be able to get you anyway. And I assume there is a guide who will know if it's getting dangerous.
